Lambdawin (lambdacyhalothrin 5°/o ec ) is new generation photostable pyrethroid insecticide used as broad spectrum for control of wide range of pests in variety of applications. Pests controlled include aphids, colorado and butterfly larvae, jassids, thrips, stem borer, fruit borer, leaf folder, green leaf hopper, gall midge, his pa, brown plant hopper and white backed plant hopper, whril maggot etc .. Crops on which it may be applied include cotton, cereals, hops, ornamentals, potatoes, vegetables, rice, egg-plants, and, others. It is an excellent cost-effective crop protection insecticide which can be used in both preventative and curative control strategies as well as in integrated pest management. It may also be used in public health applications to control insects such as cockroaches, mosquitoes, ticks and flies, which may act as disease vectors. The application of this insecticide depends upon climatic conditions and approval of local authorities.
